Description
I was inspired by my own experiences of love and language, I depicted a sensual mouth with parted lips, accompanied by the phrase “Kiss me in French” – a whispered promise that I never really got to tell any boyfriend when I was young because I used to be so afraid of what men could think of me. For me, this piece symbolizes the vulnerability and intimacy that unfolds when words become the ultimate aphrodisiac.
Using acrylic as a medium in illustration style, and hand-lettering, in “Kiss me in French” I aimed to craft a dreamlike texture that invites the viewer to indulge in the sensuality of language and human connection. I sought to capture the essence of that magical moment when words transcend borders and boundaries, connecting us deeply.
