Description
Kiss Me in French is a work that seeks to inspire women to embrace their freedom and individuality, challenging the norms that have conditioned their emotional and sexual expression. Through this piece, I invite them to recognize their right to desire, to be vulnerable, and to embrace the power that lies in their voice and their desire.
Inspired by my own experiences with love, communication, and language, the work features a sensual mouth with parted lips, accompanied by the phrase Kiss Me in French—a bold statement, almost a whisper, reflecting something I never dared to say in my youth for fear of being judged. Back then, societal expectations and my own insecurities prevented me from fully expressing my desire. This piece symbolizes that moment of vulnerability when language and desire become an act of genuine intimacy.
In Kiss Me in French, I aimed to create an atmosphere that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the sensuality of words and the connection they can create between people. The work celebrates language as a powerful aphrodisiac, capable of transcending physical and emotional barriers, uniting the intimate and profound aspects of our humanity.
